There were some big tarps spread out in front of the stage, and being Japan, you had to take your shoes off even in the storm! We couldn't see anything from behind all the people lining the tarp, so we had to get shoeless and get on the tarp too. We sat on little cushions from the teacher's car. Once the play started though, everyone stormed the tarp, shoes and all!

You can't see the pelting rain in the photo, but you can see the pools of water on the tarp! We couldn't believe it wasn't cancelled.

I saw a frog on the tarp.
